In These Trying Times

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  Matthew 22:37-39

But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day….  Genesis 50:20

Dear Brothers and Sisters In Christ,

We now face something that is new to all of us.  And though it poses difficulties, we must remember who controls everything.  God has allowed this to take place for a purpose and we can rely on Him to see us through this crisis.

As a church family, we want to be good neighbors to all people we come into contact with.  Therefore, the leadership has made the decision to suspend our Services until Easter Sunday (April 12th).  We will make a determination closer to  that time to decide if it will be safe for our church family to return to the Fellowship.

Please send your Tithes and Offerings by mail, if possible.  We still have most of the same expenses.

Scripture teaches us that all things work together for good for those who are called of God.  Remember God is working in this as in any other event of our lives.  When we do what we can to eliminate the spread of this deadly virus, we are being good neighbors.

I would encourage you, with the time you now have, to seek the Promises of God in His inexhaustible Word.  As God told Joshua, as he lead the children into the Promise Land, to be of good courage and strength, God will win the battle.

                                         Loving at a Distance,

                                                              Bro. Gene
